SYNOPSIS

Nazar Ke Samne (1995) is a Hindi crime-action thriller that follows an unemployed drunkard, Jai Kumar (Akshay Kumar), who makes a living by taking on shady, illegal jobs. His life takes a dark turn when he is paid to give false testimony in court, wrongfully convicting an innocent photographer of murder.

Synopsis
The plot revolves around Umesh, a mild-mannered press photographer who is arrested and sentenced to hang for the murder of a newspaper editor. The conviction is secured thanks to a fabricated eyewitness account from Jai. 
Guilt-ridden and desperate, Umesh’s sister Sarita confronts Jai. She makes him realize the devastating impact his lies have had on their family, prompting him to have a change of heart. Realizing his grave mistake, Jai falls in love with Sarita and promises to clear her brother's name. 

With the court refusing to reopen the case, Jai is left with just one week to find the real killer. His only clue is an accidental photograph taken at the murder scene that shows nothing but the killer's shoes. As Jai races against time to untangle the mystery and prove Umesh's innocence, he discovers that a powerful, corrupt lawyer is the mastermind behind the murder and the blackmail. The remainder of the film follows Jai as he evades the real killer's attempts to silence him while desperately trying to expose the truth.
